Last the week the kids and I traveled from Aberdeen, Scotland to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to visit family. Usually we travel back to the States in the summer, but because my little brother's wedding is in October we planned our visit now. I have horrible flying anxiety. I hate it. Half the time when flying I am playing referee between my two children and the rest of the time I am desperately trying to keep my anxiety from bubbling over. I do not want to be that person you read about in the news who suffered a nervous breakdown somewhere over the Atlantic. To help cope with my anxiety this time, I tried playing photographer and documented our trip from Aberdeen to London and London to Philadelphia. It worked...although it might have helped that the kids did phenomenally well for this trip. So without further ado--here is our photographic journey across the pond.
